Text message program

ConstructionDad Recruiting · Last updated September 4, 2026

ConstructionDad Recruiting texts workers about the jobs they applied to, and, only if they ask for it, about new openings in their trade. This page describes the program in full.

How people opt in

  • On the application form. A worker applying to a job enters their mobile number and checks an unchecked box that states, in full, what they are agreeing to. A second, optional box covers texts about other openings. The application cannot be sent without the first box; the second is never required.
  • On the job alerts page in their portal, where the same consent wording is shown before they save an alert.
  • By texting a job keyword (for example a word printed on a jobsite sign) to (716) 455-2778. The reply contains the application link; no further texts are sent unless they then opt in on the form.
The application form's consent section: two unchecked boxes with the full text-message disclosure, above the Apply button
The opt-in as it appears on the application form.

The exact wording shown at opt-in:

I agree to receive text messages about my application and placement from ConstructionDad Recruiting and its recruiting partners, including messages sent by an automated system. Consent is not a condition of employment or of applying. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
